Visitor tip
Visitors can try the local specialty, Gunma soba noodles, at one of the food stalls near the shrine's main gate before making an offering or paying respects.
Cultural notes
Enmei Okami is also associated with good luck and longevity. During the spring festival season, a traditional sake ceremony takes place in front of the shrine, where participants carry sake barrels from the shrine to nearby homes as a symbol of gratitude for the god's blessings.
