Located in the northernmost prefecture of Japan, Aomori Prefecture's White Dragon Shrine is dedicated to Ryujin, the Japanese dragon god and symbol of good luck and prosperity. Built during the Edo period, the shrine features a unique blend of traditional Shinto architecture and local woodcarving styles characteristic of Aomori's culture.
