Located in the Japanese prefecture of Gunma, Akakawa no Miyako Shrine is a Shinto shrine dedicated to the mythological spirit Akakawa-no-Miyako. The shrine was originally built in 1617 and relocated several times until its current location. According to local legend, Akakawa-no-Miyako was a princess who died from illness while bathing in a hot spring. Her spirit is said to inhabit this site. The shrine's architecture reflects traditional Japanese design with a tiled roof and a large torii gate. It is also known for its beautiful gardens and seasonal festivals, such as the autumn leaves festival, which attract visitors from all over Japan.
