Located in the town of Katsuyama, northern Iwana District, the Naka-ichi Shrine is a Shinto shrine dedicated to the god of fertility and agriculture, Hachiman. Dating back to the Heian period (794-1185 CE), this shrine showcases traditional Japanese architecture, featuring a wooden torii gate and a five-story pagoda. The shrine's grounds also contain numerous shrines and altars for various regional deities.
