Visitor tip

Cultural notes
Koino Hachiman-gū is famous for its connection to the legend of Saichō and Mika no Okuni, two renowned female performers who worshipped at this shrine. The shrine also hosts an annual Hachiman Festival in May, which features traditional dances and music performances.
