The Dewa Sanzan Inari Shrine, located in the prefecture of Gunma, is one of the most famous Shinto shrines dedicated to Inari Okami, the god of rice, fertility, and prosperity. As a key site within the Dewa Sanzan region, it has played an essential role in regional mythology and festival traditions. Dedicated primarily to Inari, this shrine also enshrines other kami, including Ise-Ningi-no-Mikoto.

Visitor tip
