The Sugisage Tenno Koma Shrine, located in Iwaoka, Ishikawa Prefecture, is dedicated to the sun goddess Amaterasu and is one of Japan's oldest shrines. The shrine was originally constructed during the Nara period (710-794 CE) and has since undergone numerous renovations and expansions. Its architecture reflects the Heian period (794-1185 CE), with a wooden main hall and a hump-backed torii gate.
