Located in the city of Kanazawa, Ishikawa Prefecture, Hiyoshi-Jinja Shrine is one of Japan's oldest shrines, with a history dating back to the Nara period (794-1185 CE). Dedicated to the sun goddess Amaterasu and the storm god Susanoo, the shrine is famous for its beautiful gardens and traditional architecture.
