The Eightfold Shrine, located in Aomori Prefecture, is a Shinto shrine dedicated to the god of prosperity and good fortune, Benten (also known as Benzaiten). The shrine is famous for its unique architecture, with a main hall covered by a curved roof resembling an octagon. This design is said to represent the eightfold path of Buddhist cosmology.
