Located in the town of Kusatsu, Gunma Prefecture, Shinkaisansha Shrine is a historic Shinto shrine dedicated to the gods of the sea and three major rivers that flow through the region. The shrine's name roughly translates to 'New Sea Three Deities' and is believed to have been established in the 17th century during the Edo period.
