Sahimeyama Shrine is a Shinto shrine located in Matsue, Shimane Prefecture. The shrine is dedicated to the kami of Mount Sahi, a mountain that rises above the city. According to local legend, the shrine was built by the Sō family who ruled the Matsue region during the Edo period. The shrine's main hall and torii gate are traditional examples of Japanese architecture from this time period.

Visitor tip
