石神神社

Akita

Located in the heart of Akita, Shitennō-ji is a historic Shinto shrine dedicated to the worship of the three deities known as the "Three Saints" (Sannenzan). These are Amaterasu Ōmikami, the Sun Goddess; Susanoo-no-Mikoto, the Storm God; and Tsukiyomi-no-Mikoto, the Moon God. The shrine's architecture reflects its importance in Akita's history and cultural heritage.
