田端神社

Located in the heart of Edogawa, Tokyo,田端神社 (Tandō Shrine) is a Shinto shrine dedicated to the deity Ōkuninushi, known as the god of agriculture and fertility. The shrine's architecture reflects its origins during the Heian period, with a main hall built in 1668. Visitors can experience traditional Japanese culture by attending one of the shrine's many festivals throughout the year.

文化的背景

歴史

The shrine was rebuilt after being destroyed during the Great Kanto Earthquake in 1923.
