Temple of the god Tsukuyomi, patron deity of the moon and agriculture, lies in North Nishimachi town in Yamanashi Prefecture. The shrine is famous for its scenic beauty with over 1,000 cherry blossom trees surrounding the main hall. Visitors come to pray for a good harvest and pray for the health of loved ones.
