和田神社

Shiga

Located in the city of Maibara, Ando Shrine is a Shinto shrine dedicated to the kami Ando-no-Tsukuyomi and Hachiman. Founded during the Nara period, it has played an important role in the region's history and culture. The shrine complex features traditional Japanese architecture with a five-story pagoda, which was rebuilt after being destroyed during the Edo period.
