Located in the city of Omiya, Shiga Prefecture, Dayatsu Shrine is a Shinto shrine dedicated to the sun goddess Amaterasu Omikami. With its rich history dating back to the Heian period (794-1185 CE), the shrine has been an important site for worship and community gatherings. Its current structure, however, dates back to the Edo period (1603-1867 CE).
