Uchiya Hikawa Shrine is a Shinto shrine located in the town of Minami-Sosa, Saitama Prefecture. The shrine is dedicated to the deity of the Hikawa River and is particularly famous for its beautiful autumn foliage. According to legend, the shrine was founded in 1653 by a local daimyo who wanted to build a shrine on the site where his ancestor had discovered a sacred spring.
