Tennō-Ō-no-Miya Shrine, dedicated to the heavenly monarchs of Japanese mythology, is a Shinto temple located in Izumo City, Shimane Prefecture. The shrine's architecture reflects the Heian period (794-1185 CE) with its wooden torii gate and tiled roof. The shrine complex features a large hall called the Ō-miya-den and several smaller shrines dedicated to various regional kami.

Visitor tip
