Inakifūjin Shrine, dedicated to Inakihime, is one of the oldest shrines in Japan, established in 718 AD during the Nara period. This shrine was originally built at the site where Princess Inakihime, a princess of Emperor Shōmu's family, was born. As a result, it has been worshipped as a shrine for fertility and childbirth.
