Godai Masaoka Shrine is a Shinto shrine dedicated to the deified spirits of a local samurai family, the Godai clan. Located in Yamagata Prefecture, it is known for its beautiful garden and traditional architecture. The shrine's history dates back to the Edo period, with records showing that it was built as a ancestral shrine for the Godai family.
