Heiwa no Mori Shrine, dedicated to the Shinto god of fertility and prosperity, is located in Akita Prefecture. The shrine's main hall is a wooden structure covered with a curved tile roof, typical of the Tohoku region's architectural style. Built during the Meiji period (1868-1912), it was established as a branch shrine to the nearby Mount Iwaki.
