Miyagi

The stone shrine, also known as Seisho, is a small Shinto shrine located in the heart of Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture. Dedicated to the protection and prosperity of the city and its people, the shrine is famous for its unique stone structure which resembles a Japanese gate. Locals often visit the shrine before important events such as job interviews or exams, seeking good luck and blessings.

Visitor tip

Cultural notes
