Located in the scenic Sakhalin Island, Hakodate Kaminokiji Shrine is a Shinto shrine dedicated to the deity of fertility and agriculture, known as Kannon or in some regions, Kaminoki-jin. The shrine's architecture reflects traditional Hokkaidan style, with wooden structures and ornate carvings. Founded in 1869, it is one of the oldest shrines in Hokkaido.
