The Daytetsu Shrine, also known as the Hachimantai Shrine, is a Shinto shrine located in Akita Prefecture. As one of Japan's most ancient shrines, it has a rich history dating back to the Nara period (710-794 CE). The shrine is dedicated to Hachiman Okami, the god of war and patron deity of the Taira clan.

Visitor tip
