Located in the city of Sendai, Miyagi Prefecture, Ifukuji-mori no Miyayashirokanwa-yamayakushiifukumyayo Makoto no Miyaya Hachiman Shrine is a Shinto shrine dedicated to Hachiman, the god of war. The shrine was originally built during the Heian period and has undergone numerous renovations throughout its history. As Ifukuji-mori no Miyayashirokanwa-yamayakushiifukumyayo Makoto no Miyaya Hachiman Shrine, it is believed to be one of the oldest shrines in Japan. The shrine complex features a unique, hexagonal tower and several other buildings. Visitors can enjoy the beautiful gardens and grounds, which include a historic gatehouse and several Shinto altars.
