Uppōrindare no Miya is a Shinto shrine located in the Uupu District of Hokkaido's Oshama Town. As one of the oldest shrines in Hokkaido, it has a rich history dating back to the Jomon period. The shrine is famous for its beautiful garden and traditional wooden architecture. Uppōrindare no Miya is said to be enshrined by Inari Okami, the Shinto god of fertility and prosperity.

Cultural notes
Uppōrindare no Miya is known for its unique torii gate, which is adorned with traditional Hokkaido carvings. The shrine also hosts a annual festival called 'Sakura Matsuri' to celebrate the blooming of cherry blossoms in spring.
