Cultural notes
Seiryojinja Shrine is famous for its annual autumn festival, with lanterns and autumn leaves on display. Benzaiten is often depicted in folklore as a goddess who rewards those who bring prosperity to their community.
Historical note
The shrine was originally built in 1872 during the Meiji period as a result of the unification of local shrines.
