The shrine's main hall is adorned with intricate carvings of mythical creatures, including the kappa water spirit and the tanuki mischievous fox spirit. During the annual Kesennuma Otsukuri Matsuri festival in September, visitors can participate in a lively procession where participants dress up as fishermen and parade through the streets.
