Located in the city of Himeji, Okayama's Miyajima Island is home to over 1,000 temples and shrines. However, in Hyogo Prefecture there is no temple or shrine with that name but one in Kobe that is called 岡の宮 (Okasamya). The Shinto shrine dedicated to Otori Tadahisa, a former daimyo of Iwami domain, was built in 1617. It is also said to be the final resting place for the daimyo's wife.
