Uzunami Shrine, located in the southern part of Osaka Prefecture, is a historic Shinto shrine dedicated to the god of war and protection, Suzu-no-kami, as well as the sea goddess Umi-mikoto and others. As a key stop on the famous Kumano Kodo pilgrimage route, Uzunami Shrine has been an important cultural site for centuries.
