Located in the city of Hikone, Ifu River Shrine in Shiga Prefecture is dedicated to Ōhime, a legendary princess from the mythology of Wakakusa, who was said to have been placed underwater by her jealous husband, Ōtsuka. The shrine's architecture is reminiscent of traditional Japanese temples, with a five-story pagoda and an octagonal torii gate. Visitors can explore the shrine grounds, which include beautiful gardens and a pond with koi fish.
