Shiga

Dayo Shrine, located in Nagata, Koka, Shiga Prefecture, is a Shinto shrine dedicated to the god of fire and purification, Hachiman. The shrine is situated at the foot of Mount Atago, an active volcano that is believed to be the dwelling place of Hachiman.
