金峰神社

Kinkaku-ji's neighboring shrine, Kofuku-ji was relocated here in 1897. Located in the heart of Kyoto, this Shinto shrine is dedicated to the god of wealth and prosperity, Fukutoku no Mikoto. Its name, Kinokoji, translates to 'Golden Peak', likely referring to its proximity to the nearby golden temple of Kinkaku-ji.
