Located on the island of Mofujima in the Seto Inland Sea, Sanzenji Shrine is a Shinto temple dedicated to the kami (deities) of the sea and fishing. The shrine's current structure dates back to the Meiji period, but it is believed that the original shrine was built during the Edo period.
