Visitor tip

Cultural notes
Sagamori Shrine is famous for its traditional Japanese festivals, including the annual Ryugu-no-Mikoto Matsuri, which celebrates the deity of the sea and features a parade of decorated boats on the nearby Sagamori River. The shrine's torii gate is adorned with beautiful traditional Japanese carp carvings.
