Fujita Shrine, located in the town of Nagi in Ibaraki Prefecture, is dedicated to the god of agriculture and fertility, Fujita Okami. According to legend, the shrine was built by the goddess Fujita, who descended upon the site after seeing a poor farmer's wife weeping for her lost child. The shrine has been rebuilt several times due to natural disasters, with its current structure dating back to 1683.
