Located in the city of Hitachi, Ibaraki Prefecture, Shingunmae Hachiman-gu is a revered Shinto shrine dedicated to the god Hachiman, patron deity of war and justice. The shrine's main hall, Kashiya-mon, features a distinctive vermilion-colored torii gate, while its Haiden (main altar) houses a 5-meter-tall statue of Hachiman. Visitors can explore the adjacent Hitachi Bonsai Museum to appreciate traditional Japanese landscaping.
