Chinzan-ji, also known as Chūsen-jinja, is a Shinto shrine located in the city of Hitachi, Ibaraki Prefecture. The shrine is dedicated to the deity Hachiman Ōkami, who is believed to have helped the Minamoto clan defeat the Taira clan in the Genpei War. Chinzan-ji is one of the most famous shrines in Japan and has been an important cultural and spiritual center for centuries.
