Hamamatsu-jinja Shrine is a historic Shinto shrine located in Hamamatsu, Shizuoka Prefecture. Cultural notes
Hamamatsu-jinja Shrine is closely associated with the god of war Hachiman and is said to have been built on a site where Hachiman defeated his enemy in battle. The shrine also hosts an annual Hachiman Festival, which takes place in May, featuring traditional performances, food stalls, and games.
