Ise-jin-ya, also known as Ise Grand Shrine, is one of Japan's most revered Shinto shrines and a UNESCO World Heritage Site located in Mie Prefecture, not Chiba. However, there is an Ise Grand Shrine branch in Katori, Chiba Prefecture. It was built during the Kamakura period (1185-1333). The shrine enshrines the deities of fertility, prosperity, and good fortune, particularly Amaterasu Omikami and Susanoo-no-Mikoto.
