Two-no-miya-jinsha is a Shinto shrine located in Echizen, Shiga Prefecture, dedicated to the kami of two mountains: Mount Two no Yama and Mount Komatsu no Yama. The shrine's main hall, honden, features a unique roofless structure, while its torii gate has three gates stacked on top of each other. Visitors can experience traditional Japanese tea ceremonies and enjoy the beautiful cherry blossom viewing areas.

Visitor tip
Be sure to try a bowl of local specialty noodles, called 'kaga udon,' at one of the food stalls near the shrine entrance.
Cultural notes
In spring, visitors can participate in the shrine's cherry blossom viewing festival, where they can enjoy traditional dances and games. The shrine is also famous for its unique architecture, which reflects the regional influences of the Echizen region.
Historical note
The shrine was rebuilt after being destroyed during the Boshin War in 1869.
