Located in the heart of Abashiri, Hokkaido's largest city, Kawagoe-jinja is a Shinto shrine that has been an important cultural and spiritual center since its founding in 1869. This shrine honors the god of prosperity and good fortune, Shichisai-kami, who is revered for his power to bring about successful endeavors. Visitors can explore the shrine's main hall, which features a beautiful vermillion torii gate, as well as the tranquil gardens that surround it.
