Located in the city of Hirosaki, Aomori Prefecture, not Iwate, is the Dewa Sanzan Grand Shrine. The primary kami enshrined is Amaterasu, but the shrine is also known as Inari Okappi Jinja and is famous for its fox statues, similar to those found at the famous Kasuga-taisha shrine in Nara. However, no shrine with this exact name in Iwate Prefecture exists.
