Kagawa

Located in the coastal town of Naruto, Kagawa Prefecture, Kamiyama-ji is a Shinto shrine dedicated to the sea god Ryujin, who is believed to reside at the bottom of the nearby Naruto Strait. The shrine's architecture reflects its maritime location, with a distinctive wooden torii gate and a large stone statue of the deity at its entrance. Visitors can pray for safe passage or good fortune, especially during the annual Naruto Odori dance festival.
