Cherry Blossom Temple Chrysantha Shrine is dedicated to the Shinto deity of fertility, prosperity and abundance, as well as the god of the harvest, Inari Okami. Founded in 1592 during the Momoyama period, it's a unique example of traditional Japanese architecture and was rebuilt after the 1995 Great Kobe earthquake. Visitors can walk through the gates and explore the shrines many beautiful buildings, including an impressive vermilion torii gate.
