Spring Day Shrine, located in Kinugasa, a town on the eastern coast of Izu Peninsula, is dedicated to the sun goddess Amaterasu Ōmikami, but more commonly known as Amaterasu in Shintoism. The shrine's name reflects its connection to the arrival of spring, when the cherry blossoms bloom. Built in 1894, it showcases a unique blend of traditional and modern architecture.
