須田金刀比羅神社 is a Shinto shrine located in the city of Takamatsu, Kagawa Prefecture. The shrine is dedicated to Susa-no-Okami, the God of Swordsmiths and the Kami of the town's history. The shrine is known for its beautiful gardens and traditional architecture, which reflect the Heian period (794-1185 CE) style.

Visitor tip
To make a wish at the shrine, tie a ribbon or thread on the wooden beam outside the main hall with a prayer or request written on it.
Cultural notes
As one of the 'Gods of Forge and Swordsmiths' (, ki no kami), Susa-no-Okami is believed to protect the town from fire and steel. The shrine hosts an annual festival in July, where participants reenact the legend of how the god created the sword that brought peace to the region.

The shrine was founded in 1287 during the Muromachi period.
