白山神社 is a Shinto shrine located in Miyagi Prefecture, dedicated to the kami of Mount Zao, which overlooks the city of Sendai. Visitor tip

Cultural notes
Mount Zao is said to be a sacred place where the local god, 'Hinokami,' resides. In Japanese mythology, Hinokami is believed to have created Mount Zao by striking it with his divine hammer.
