The three-tiered shrine of Mikuni Shrine in the town of Matsumoto, Nagano Prefecture, is dedicated to the Shinto kami Mikunokami. The main hall and shrine tower are decorated with intricate carvings and ornaments typical of the Kofuku style, a regional architectural tradition dating back to the Heian period.
