Located in the coastal town of Nankoku, Ehime Prefecture, Takamatsu Grand Shrine is dedicated to Okuninushi Ōkami and Inari Okami. The main hall was constructed during the Edo period in 1794. This shrine, also known as Higo Eight Falls Shrine or Great Eight Deities Shrine, honors eight gods associated with good luck and prosperity. Visitors can see a famous wooden lantern adorned with a vermilion umbrella, symbolizing protection from evil spirits. The shrine's main hall is supported by a distinctive Shinden-zukuri (hall-and-garden) architectural style.
